Dance exists to move us.

That belief has shaped Sibylle’s path. Before her professional career began, doctors and physiotherapists told her she did not have the body to become a dancer. She built a career anyway - questioning the expected path and finding her own way to move, train and express. Her gift is to inhabit movement down to its smallest detail, making the character and emotion of a dance reach the audience.

Throughout her career, Sibylle has pursued a deep interest in dance & sports science - how to train intelligently. That knowledge continues to shape her work: physical understanding in service of artistic expression.

A career across worlds

Sibylle’s career has never belonged to one scene. She has moved between contemporary companies, theatre and musicals; pop artists, and music videos; film and television productions; exhibitions and art projects; and major commercial events. 

Her grounding in contemporary, Latin and commercial dance gave her an unusual range: the ability to move between the contemporary art world and the energy of the show world, bringing musicality, character and expressive depth to both.
